On Friday 4th March the Leeds City Council branded recycling facilities will be removed from the Sainsbury’s stores in Colton, LS15 and Otley, LS21 as Sainsbury’s have now partnered with Palm Recycling to take over the management of these facilities.
Palm Recycling will manage the new-look, front of store recycling service which comprises standardised recycling containers for mixed paper and card, mixed glass, mixed plastics, mixed cans, textiles and small waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Sainsbury’s have advised that these new banks will be in place by Friday 11th March.
The Leeds City Council ‘Where I Live’ page lists the many other recycling facilities within these areas which your constituents may use during the change-over.
