We are going to repair the footways in the above street. The following information will tell you the type of work we will be doing and a brief description of the work involved. As most streets have two footways it is possible that each footway may require different treatments. Therefore if there are two different types of work listed for the footway it means that each footway requires a different treatment.
Take up existing flags and resurface footway
We do this when the main problem is that the majority of flags are uneven or broken. During the process we remove the existing flags, which will be recycled. We then replace with tarmac.
We are going to repair the road in the above street. The following information will tell you the type of work we will be doing, and a brief description of the work involved:
When we repair a whole street we usually do the footpaths first and the road repairs after this. We try to have as little delay between the two sets of work as possible – but we’ll keep you informed
We do this when the surface of the road has deteriorated and started to form potholes and lost its shape. During the process we remove the top layer and replace it with the appropriate material.
