Henry Boot Construction have received permission from the Council’s Highways team for a temporary footpath closure on Haworth Lane in order for drainage works to be undertaken. The closure license permits a section of the footpath to be closed for a month but the contractor expects this should take 2-3 weeks. The closure is due to take effect tomorrow and the attachments indicate the exact location and the extent of the closure.
If you have passed the site recently you’ll have noticed that the structure is progressing. The foundations are almost complete and part of the first floor concrete frame is in place. Between now and Christmas, there will be some out of hours working in relation to concrete pours. These are very much weather dependent and the contractor has a communications strategy in place whereby local residents are informed in advance by letter drop / visit.
